We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our operations in Cincinnati, Ohio! This role involves the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of warehouse equipment and facilities, ensuring our logistics operations run smoothly and safely. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring all equipment meets safety standards. Your technical expertise will be crucial in minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency within our state-of-the-art warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyors, and automated systems.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems.
- Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently, complying with regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Respond promptly to repair requests and service calls.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Assist with the installation of new equipment and systems.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and safety of our logistics operations.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Knowledge of warehouse equipment and safety regulations.
- Willingness to perform lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Technical certification or vocational training is a plus.
