Our San Francisco, California, distribution center is seeking a Fulfillment Associate to manage various aspects of our warehouse operations. This role is vital for ensuring that customer orders are processed quickly and accurately, from receiving goods to preparing them for shipment. You will be an integral part of our Logistics network, upholding our commitment to timely and efficient delivery. We value dedication and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Process incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations accurately.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision and care.
- Prepare orders for shipping, including labeling and staging.
- Operate warehouse machinery and equipment as required.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor and storage areas.
- Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counts.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and productivity.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and meet performance metrics.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Must be comfortable with frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety best practices.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- This role is a key component of our Logistics chain.
