About
We are hiring an Order Picker for our Madison, Wisconsin warehouse. This critical role ensures that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. As an Order Picker, you will navigate the warehouse using a scanner to locate, retrieve, and verify products according to order specifications. Your accuracy and speed directly contribute to our customer satisfaction and the overall success of our logistics operations. We prioritize a safe working environment and provide all necessary PPE and training. If you are detail-oriented, possess good stamina, and enjoy a physically active role, this position is ideal for you. Previous experience as an order picker is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals ready to learn and contribute.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using RF scanners.
- Verify product codes, descriptions, and quantities against order details.
- Place picked items into appropriate containers (totes, boxes, pallets).
- Ensure orders are staged correctly for packing and shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the warehouse logistics.
Requirements:
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Physical capability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety procedures.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
