Job Summary:
Join our growing team as a Material Handler in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! This physically demanding role is essential for the efficient movement of goods within our distribution center. You will be responsible for operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, to transport, load, and unload materials. Your primary focus will be ensuring materials are moved safely and efficiently to their designated locations, supporting various warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping. We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role requires regular physical exertion, including significant lifting, carrying, and maneuvering of materials. The ability to lift up to 60 pounds is essential. Adherence to strict safety protocols is non-negotiable; you will be required to use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times and follow all safety guidelines. Proper training will be provided for equipment operation and safe material handling techniques. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Load and unload trucks and containers.
  • Transport materials between different areas of the warehouse.
  • Assist with inventory management and put-away processes.
  • Ensure materials are staged correctly for outgoing shipments.
  • Perform routine checks on equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience operating material handling equipment (certification preferred).
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 60 pounds.
  • Understanding of warehouse logistics and material flow.
  • Strong commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
  • Excellent physical condition and stamina.
