About
We have an exciting opportunity for a Material Handler at our Milwaukee, Wisconsin location. In this role, you will be essential to the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing the movement and organization of materials. Responsibilities include operating material handling equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring accurate placement of inventory. Your diligence contributes directly to the efficiency of our overall logistics network. A strong emphasis is placed on workplace Safety , requiring all employees to follow established protocols and wear designated PPE at all times. This physically demanding position requires the ability to perform frequent Lifting of items up to 60 lbs, as well as standing and walking for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory counts and record-keeping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all warehouse procedures and instructions.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations.
- Properly wear and maintain all assigned PPE .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a warehouse setting.
- Forklift certification is a significant advantage.
- Ability to perform rigorous physical tasks, including Lifting up to 60 lbs repeatedly.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics .
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to safety guidelines.
