About
Join our San Diego, California team as a Material Handler and play a vital role in our warehouse operations. This position is fundamental to the efficient movement of goods within our facility, ensuring that products are stored, retrieved, and staged correctly for shipment. You will be responsible for operating various material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified), to move inventory. Accuracy and efficiency are key, as your work directly impacts the flow of our logistics operations. We maintain a strong commitment to employee Safety , and all team members are required to strictly follow safety protocols and wear the designated PPE at all times. This role requires physical stamina, including frequent Lifting of items up to 60 lbs and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required for forklift operation).
- Move, store, and retrieve materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and placement.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Use required PPE consistently.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Experience operating pallet jacks and forklifts (certification is a plus).
- Ability to perform heavy physical tasks, including Lifting up to 60 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
