Job Summary:
Seeking a reliable and efficient Material Handler for our Oklahoma City, Oklahoma operations. This role is crucial for maintaining the flow of goods within our warehouse. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and moving materials and products, ensuring that inventory is accurately managed and accessible. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. This position involves both physical labor and the operation of warehouse equipment, contributing to the overall efficiency of our logistics network.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive incoming materials and verify shipment contents against purchase orders or invoices.
  • Inspect goods for damage and report any issues.
  • Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper rotation (e.g., FIFO).
  • Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified) safely and efficiently.
  • Transport materials to and from various departments or production areas.
  • Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Support the logistics team in achieving operational goals.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in material handling.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred.
  • Proficiency in using manual and powered material handling equipment.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following all PPE guidelines.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential.
