About
Join our logistics team as a Shipping Clerk in Houston, Texas! We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to manage the outgoing flow of goods from our warehouse. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be responsible for preparing shipping documents, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring that all outgoing shipments are accurate, complete, and timely. Your duties will include verifying orders, selecting appropriate shipping methods, tracking shipments, and maintaining organized shipping records. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics procedures is essential. You must be committed to maintaining a safe work environment and strictly adhere to all safety regulations and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and proficiency with computer systems. While direct lifting may be minimal, you will be working in a warehouse environment and must be prepared for the associated pace and potential physical demands. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading and packing slips.
- Verify accuracy of orders against shipping manifests.
