Border Patrol Agent Position

This role presents an exceptional opportunity to be part of a highly trained team dedicated to safeguarding the nation's borders, enforcing immigration laws, and preventing smuggling activities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work in high-pressure situations.

This position requires:

• A high school diploma or equivalent required; however, prior law enforcement experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis up to two years.​​
• An additional 26 weeks of training at the U.S. Border Patrol Academy is mandatory upon selection.
• Candidates must meet specific physical requirements due to nature of job duties such as performing surveillance from covert positions and patrolling along rivers using boats. Candidate's driving record during previous five years is also scrutinized before becoming appointed.
