About the Role:
The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP)
in partnership with other government agencies, is committed to securing America's borders while facilitating legitimate trade and travel.
The CBP is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join its team as a Customs and Border Protection Officer.
>About this opportunity: The successful candidate will have the chance to work in one of over 60 duty locations across the United States,
wether it be at land ports, airports or seaports.This role requires strong analytical skills,
sound judgment and excellent communication abilities.The work environment can be physically demanding but also rewarding for those who enjoy working outdoors.
The daily duties may include:
patrolling areas around ports of entry,interviewing individuals suspecting violators,detaining them using proper law enforcement techniques,examining cargo/bags/merchandise for contraband,cultivating international relations,and much more.
