As a highly skilled Border Patrol Agent, you will be part of an elite team dedicated to protecting the American people by safeguarding our borders. Your primary objective will be to prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers of noncitizens at or near the borders.

You will work closely with your colleagues to maintain surveillance from covert positions, use infrared scopes during night operations, interpret and follow tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry. Additionally, you may perform farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, transportation checks along with patrolling international boundary coastal waterways using various government assets.

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws.


• Making sound judgments in the use of firearms while dealing effectively with people in connection with law enforcement matters.


• Analyzing information rapidly for prompt decision-making in arrests after required training has been completed.

In order to excel as a Border Patrol Agent (BPA), you must possess strong analytical skills accompanied by ability comprehend complex regulations thoroughly on your own accord without direct supervision constantly throughout this position period This is NOT negotiable
