About the Job
The Customs and Border Protection Officer (CBPO) position is a career ladder job with progression from GS-5 to GS-12 level. You will be responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, agriculture laws, inspecting conveyances,
- Detaining suspected violators of federal laws using proper law enforcement methods
- Conducting interviews for gathering information on potential threats & performing risk assessments
- Determining admissibility of individuals for entry into the US
