Border Security Specialist

The United States Customs and Border Protection agency offers a unique opportunity to join their ranks as a Customs Officer. This role involves enforcing laws related to customs, immigration, and agriculture while facilitating the flow of legitimate trade and travel.

As a Customs Officer, you will be responsible for conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances, determining admissibility for entry into the United States, preventing illegal entry of prohibited goods, smuggling drugs or other contraband. You may also perform duties such as:

• Enforcing federal laws pertaining to international trade
• Promoting public safety through effective border security strategies
• Maintaining order in public spaces while ensuring fairness in application of rules
