Your Responsibilities As a Customer Solutions Architect (CSA), you will be a key technical leader engaging with customers to enhance their Teradata experience. This role demands a unique blend of technical expertise in data architecture, analytics, and cloud platforms along with solid relationship management skills to enhance platform usage and drive growth. Your primary duties will include: Customer Advocacy and Relationship Management Build and sustain trusted relationships with stakeholders from technical teams to executive sponsors. Act as a prescriptive agent, providing proactive solutions to maintain and improve account health. Communicate customer insights and challenges to influence product development effectively. Showcase the value of Teradata solutions through continuous engagement and success strategies. Promoting Adoption and Innovation Encourage the use of Teradata by presenting unique features and underutilized functions. Educate customers on industry trends, benchmarks, and new capabilities through engaging sessions. Create tailored technical resources and hands-on workshops to meet customer requirements. Collaborate with clients to discover new use cases that align with their long-term plans. Driving Technical Opportunities Lead technical discussions and design effective solutions to foster growth and increased account revenue. Establish a tailored 'Technical Vision for Success' for each account, outlining current and future architecture. Ensure technical readiness and align cloud setup appropriately. Assist in quoting, ordering, and developing proposals while facilitating communication internally and with the customer. Conduct demos, benchmarks, and proofs of concept to mitigate risks and foster opportunities. Technical Leadership and Implementation Showcase your technical leadership and proactive approach to build credibility. Influence customer architecture to incorporate Teradata Vantage in their data strategies. Ensure technical initiatives align with account strategy and customer objectives for long-term growth. Continuously update knowledge of Teradata’s offerings and emerging technologies to effectively communicate with customers. Collaboration Work closely with Account Executives and the account team to strategize and develop opportunities. Interact with a variety of customer stakeholders, including DBAs, data architects, and C-level executives. Partner with Consulting Services for solution design and execution. Coordinate with Customer Services for ongoing alignment and success. Engage with internal teams for proposal shaping and pricing. Collaborate with product and technical experts to bring specialized support to customer conversations. Drive Teradata solution adoption across sales, technical, and delivery teams. Qualifications A genuine interest in data and analytics, including trends in AI and ML. Experience advocating analytic solutions in a pre-sales or delivery capacity within large organizations. Proficiency with Cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Familiar with the competitive landscape and Teradata’s unique advantages. A track record of understanding customer needs and establishing trust across various organizational levels. Adept at managing multiple priorities across diverse customer accounts. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. A degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, management information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Your Skills Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
