Job: Entry Data Specialist
Status: Independent Contractor
Time Commitment: Part-time, flexible
Pay: $5 per record/source completed
The McCalmon Group has created an online database to record information about jury awards, settlements, fines, etc.
We are looking for data entry specialists to enter information into this database from provided source materials. This will require reviewing source materials (written in English), extracting information, performing a check using provided tools to ensure the data is not a duplicate of an entry already in the database, and adding the information to the database when applicable.
Entry data specialists are also required to convert web pages to PDF documents and to do some additional web research.
All provided materials and database records are written in English and require an ability to understand basic aspects of the American civil justice system.
A background in data entry, data collection, and/or web research would be beneficial but is not necessary. An ideal applicant should possess exceptional data entry skills, including swift typing and fastidious attention to detail and accuracy.
The Entry Data Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all data entered into the database and will be required to sign a Confidentiality Agreement before beginning any work.
Work can be completed on the site at any time. Training and support will be provided between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday.
Compensation for data input will vary based on the number of accurate records completed within the assignment period. Payment will be processed at the end of the assignment period through Upwork.
