Role Overview:
We're building AI agent infrastructure for Open DealFlow, a real estate automation platform serving 80+ customers. You'll develop workflow automation agents in n8n immediately, then architect an OpenClaw multi-agent system as our premium offering.
Timeline: MVP delivery in less than 30 days, OpenClaw architecture in 60 days.
Immediate Scope (First 30 Days):
n8n Agent Development
Build and deploy three production agents:
1. Lead Follow-Up Agent
Trigger: New lead entry in GoHighLevel CRM
Actions: Automated outreach sequence, response handling, pipeline progression
Status: Built but needs testing/refinement
2. Cold Lead Reactivation Agent
Trigger: Leads older than 30 days in pipeline
Actions: Automated re-engagement outreach
Status: New build required
Technical Stack: n8n workflows, GoHighLevel API, OpenAI API, VAPI (voice AI), Twilio
Secondary Scope Days):
OpenClaw Multi-Agent System Architecture
Design and deploy templated, managed OpenClaw instance as premium tier offering
Agent Team Structure: We will have one lead "Manager" agent that our customers would interface with via chat interface on our customer portal. There will be several "Worker" agents that do things such as: new lead follow up, cold lead outreach sequences, prepare daily/weekly/monthly business briefings with KPI analysis, pipeline health monitoring and alerts (overdue actions, stalled deals)
Infrastructure:
Hosted Ubuntu instances per customer (need recommendation on platform. Scope of the project includes deployment script per customer to create new instance from template. New instance includes OpenClaw instance and agents. Should be a working instance once deployed (and some light configuration).
Integration with Pulse Portal (our custom React app)
GoHighLevel CRM as primary data source
Required Skills
Must-Have:
n8n: Production workflow development, complex branching logic, error handling
API Integration: REST APIs, webhooks, authentication patterns
Real Estate Tech: Understanding of CRM pipelines, lead lifecycle, deal stages
OpenClaw (or similar agent frameworks): Multi-agent orchestration, agent communication patterns
Linux/Ubuntu: Server deployment, environment management
Strong Preference:
GoHighLevel CRM experience (API v2)
Voice AI integration (VAPI or similar)
React app integration (for Pulse Portal connectivity)
Workflow optimization (speed, cost, reliability)
Documentation mindset (we're building repeatable templates)

Phase 1 (less than 30 days):
2 production n8n agents deployed and tested
Documentation for agent logic and maintenance
Integration with existing Pulse Portal features
Phase days):
OpenClaw multi-agent architecture design
Deployment playbook for customer instances
Template library for agent team configurations

About Open DealFlow
We're the fractional tech team for scaling real estate investors. Our customers run wholesaling, fix-and-flip, self storage, land, and rental acquisition operations. We handle their entire tech stack: CRM configuration, AI automation, pipeline optimization, and KPI tracking.
Context You Need:
Our customers are real estate investors / business owners, not tech people – systems must be reliable and simple
We're a service company with premium pricing – quality over features
Working Relationship
You'll work with:
Jason (CEO/Product) – Former corporate tech lead, systems architect, detail-oriented
Daniyal (VP of Operations) – GHL implementation lead, oversees CSM team.
Customer Success Team – Real-world feedback on agent performance
Communication Style:
Direct, no-fluff technical discussions
Fast iteration cycles (ship then test then refine)
Operator mindset: "Does it work reliably in production?" matters more than perfect code
Documentation required for everything (we're building repeatable systems)
Project Details
Duration: 2-3-month initial contract with strong potential for ongoing work
Hours: 20-30 hours/week (flexible, but MVP delivery is time-bound)
Rate: Competitive for senior n8n/agent developers – share your rate
Start Date: Immediate

Production Experience: You've shipped workflow automation that runs reliably
Systems Thinking: You understand how agents/workflows fit into larger business operations
Speed + Quality: You iterate fast but don't cut corners on reliability
Communication: You ask clarifying questions, document decisions, flag risks early
Next Steps:
Shortlist applications based on portfolio + experience
30-minute technical screen (architecture discussion)
Paid test project: Build two n8n agent from spec
If test passes: Make the 2 agents production ready and we will deploy to customers for user testing / refinement. Then move on to Phase 2 - OpenClaw.
Key Success Metrics
2-3 weeks:
2 agents in production, processing real customer data
Zero critical failures requiring manual intervention
Documentation complete for handoff/scaling
30-60 Days:
OpenClaw architecture validated with 1-2 pilot customers
Template library ready for repeatable deployments
Pulse Portal integration functional
Contract duration of 1 to 3 months. with 30 hours per week.
