Junior Accountant

• Maintain accurate financial records by preparing and processing EFTs, weekly cheques and wire transfer requests.
• Track operational activities and accurately enter data into the CRM system.
• Code and record payables and expenses in accordance with established accounting procedures and clerical guidelines.
• Review balance statements and financial institution records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and issue notices related to outstanding fees, revenue refunds, and proceeds.

• Post Secondary Education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2 + years of progressive accounting experience in accounts payable and revenue data entry.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and month-end processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Acumatica or similar accounting software is preferred; familiarity with CRM systems is considered an asset.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines with a strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Effective communicator with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
