• Use analytics to inform editing decisions
If something feels slow, flat, or unclear — you fix it or propose a better solution.

Key Responsibilities
• Edit long and short form YouTube videos (1–30+ minutes)
• Craft strong, high-impact openings (first 30–60 seconds)
• Optimize pacing, storytelling flow, and emotional engagement
• Integrate motion graphics, text overlays, B-roll, and sound design strategically
• Color correct and professionally balance audio
• Deliver polished, performance-ready exports
• Meet consistent weekly deadlines
• Collaborate on growth strategy and content direction

Required Qualifications
• Must be physically located in America
• 3+ years of professional YouTube editing experience
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-retention content
• Deep understanding of:
• YouTube audience psychology
• Watch time optimization
• Retention curve improvement
• Hook strategy
• CTR alignment (thumbnail/title/edit synergy)
• Proficiency in:
• Adobe Premiere Pro (preferred), Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
• After Effects is a plus
• Strong storytelling instincts
• Ability to think independently and make creative decisions
• Comfortable giving and receiving feedback
