We are seeking a highly experienced, results-driven U.S.-based CDL Driver and Owner-Operator Recruiter to lead full-cycle driver recruitment efforts for a growing transportation operation.
This role requires deep industry expertise, a strong understanding of FMCSA driver qualification standards, and a proven track record of delivering qualified drivers within defined timelines.
The ideal candidate is data-driven, process-oriented, and capable of building a scalable recruiting infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage a structured recruiting pipeline for CDL drivers and owner-operators.
Design and execute multi-channel sourcing strategies (Indeed, CDL job boards, industry networks, social media groups, referrals).
Conduct structured pre-screening and qualification interviews in accordance with DOT standards.
Verify driver eligibility based on FMCSA qualification requirements.
Track and optimize recruiting KPIs (cost per hire, time to hire, pipeline conversion rate, lead sources).
Implement standardized recruiting scripts and onboarding workflows.
Collaborate with compliance and operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years of experience recruiting CDL drivers within the U.S. trucking industry.
Demonstrated success placing qualified drivers within 30-day hiring cycles.
Strong knowledge of FMCSA driver qualification standards and DOT compliance basics.
Experience using ATS, CRM, or recruitment pipeline management systems.
Excellent communication, screening, and negotiation skills.
Strong organizational and reporting capabilities.

Position Overview
We are seeking a senior-level DOT Compliance Consultant with extensive FMCSA regulatory expertise to conduct a comprehensive compliance audit, stabilize safety systems, and implement structured compliance processes for a growing U.S. motor carrier.
This role is critical to ensuring audit readiness, mitigating regulatory risk exposure, and strengthening long-term operational compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct a full DOT compliance audit (Driver Qualification Files, Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse, MVRs, ELD logs, maintenance files).
Evaluate safety performance metrics and identify compliance risk exposure.
Develop and implement compliance tracking systems and internal SOPs.
Review CSA scores and recommend corrective action strategies.
Train internal staff on DOT regulatory requirements and audit preparedness.
Prepare the organization for potential DOT audits or investigations.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on FMCSA compliance experience.
Prior experience working directly with active motor carriers.
Strong understanding of DOT audits, safety ratings, and regulatory enforcement processes.
Proven ability to design and implement compliance management systems.
Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting skills.
