A Strategic Role at the Heart of Logistic
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic oversight and technical leadership across all network planning initiatives.
- Lead and standardize network configuration and planning processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Serve as the main point of contact for complex network projects (e.g., station openings, capacity planning, network optimization).
- Own and maintain the integrity of all network parameters (transit times, routing logic, sort times, etc.).
- Collaborate with IT and Operations to drive innovation, automation, and system improvements.
- Support the development and documentation of end-to-end network processes and planning methodologies.
- Mentor and coach other Network Planners, ensuring alignment and knowledge sharing.
- Act as an escalation point for operational or technical issues impacting the network.
- Support the Manager, Network Design, in strategic planning, stakeholder communications, and network governance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree is an asset).
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and lead process improvement initiatives.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in data tools and Excel/BI environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong understanding of Middle Mile operations and network optimization principles.
- Ability to work independently and influence decisions across teams.
- Availability for travel
- Bilingual (French/English)
