Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Drywall Estimator located in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Drywall Estimator will be responsible for evaluating project plans, estimating materials and labor costs, preparing proposals, and collaborating with project managers. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with building codes, attending client meetings, and providing support throughout project execution.
Qualifications
Strong technical skills in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and construction plans
Proficiency in cost estimation, budgeting, and managing project timelines
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions and teamwork
Familiarity with construction technology, related software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, project management software), and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational and analytical abilities to ensure accuracy in estimates and documentation
Experience in the drywall or construction industry is an asset
Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred
