About
We are looking for an experienced Material Handler to support our operations in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the flow of materials throughout the warehouse, ensuring that products are moved efficiently and safely from receiving to staging areas, and to production lines or shipping docks. Your role is vital for maintaining optimal inventory levels and supporting the overall logistics network. We emphasize a culture of safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move goods.
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and other transport vehicles.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Maintain inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas for maximum efficiency.
- Participate in team efforts to achieve operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
- Valid forklift operator certification is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting, up to 70 lbs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Familiarity with Logistics principles and best practices.
- Strong understanding of workplace Safety procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
