As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately gathering items for customer orders and ensuring they are safely and correctly packaged for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick specified items from warehouse inventory using an RF scanner.
- Inspect items for defects or damage before packing.
- Select appropriate packaging materials and efficiently pack items to ensure safe delivery.
- Apply shipping labels and other necessary documentation to packages.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet order fulfillment targets.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of our logistics center.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a picking or packing role is a plus.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Understanding of basic warehouse logistics.
- Commitment to safety and consistent use of required PPE.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Good manual dexterity for packing tasks.
