Our Distribution Center in Indianapolis, Indiana is seeking reliable Distribution Center Associates. This position is key to our logistics operations, focusing on the efficient handling and processing of goods. You will be involved in various warehouse activities, contributing to the smooth operation of our supply chain. We are looking for individuals who are hardworking, detail-oriented, and committed to safety.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and sort incoming inventory accurately.
- Place stock in designated storage areas and maintain organization.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to specifications.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, safely.
- Conduct inventory checks and assist in maintaining accurate stock levels.
- Strictly adhere to all safety regulations and utilize appropriate PPE.
- Keep the warehouse environment clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Support the overall efficiency of our logistics and distribution processes.
- Perform other warehouse duties as needed to support the team's success.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the entire shift.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
