Join our dedicated team as a Warehouse Associate in Virginia Beach, Virginia! This position is crucial for the efficient operation of our logistics and fulfillment center. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving and inspecting goods, accurately picking and packing orders, managing inventory, and preparing items for shipment. We pride ourselves on a safe and productive work environment, and adherence to all Safety standards, including the correct use of PPE, is paramount. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, detail-oriented, and possess a strong work ethic. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Verify received items against order documents.
- Accurately pick and pull products for customer orders.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently to ensure safe delivery.
- Label shipments correctly and prepare them for dispatch.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training available).
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse space.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock management.
- Follow all Safety regulations and protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Support the overall logistics workflow and team objectives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is a strong asset.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety procedures and the correct use of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Understanding of basic inventory and logistics concepts is beneficial.
- Proactive and willing to take on new tasks.
