We are hiring a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This position is essential for the efficient operation of our distribution center, supporting all aspects of our supply chain. Your responsibilities will include receiving and inspecting goods, stocking inventory, picking and packing orders accurately, and preparing shipments for dispatch. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper organization.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using scanning technology or pick lists.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Adhere strictly to all company **Safety** regulations and procedures.
- Wear required **PPE** at all times while on duty.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, and **lifting** up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management principles.
