We are seeking a reliable and skilled Material Handler to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma! This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our warehouse and supports our critical Logistics operations. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and moving materials throughout the facility, ensuring that inventory is managed effectively and efficiently. Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and competently is a key requirement of this position. Our company places the highest priority on workplace Safety . All employees are expected to strictly follow all safety protocols, including the proper and consistent use of required PPE . This role requires physical strength and endurance, including the ability to perform significant Lifting and operate machinery for extended periods. You will play a key role in tasks such as unloading inbound shipments, stocking shelves, and preparing materials for outgoing orders. Strong organizational skills are essential for maintaining an orderly warehouse and tracking materials accurately. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and unload incoming materials and shipments.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas within the warehouse.
- Stock inventory in assigned locations, ensuring accuracy.
- Prepare materials for outbound shipments or internal use.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform routine checks on equipment and report any maintenance issues.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Contribute to team goals and productivity targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Previous experience in a Material Handler or warehouse role.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management principles.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting (up to 75 lbs) and stand/operate equipment for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety practices and procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
- Willingness to wear and maintain all required PPE .
