You will be responsible for selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment, playing a crucial part in our logistics network. Your attention to detail and speed are key to meeting customer expectations and maintaining operational flow. We are committed to a strong Safety culture and provide thorough training and all required personal protective equipment (PPE). The job involves consistent physical activity, including walking, standing, bending, and lifting items up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order requirements.
- Verify product information and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack items using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Prepare packages for shipment, including applying labels and documentation.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace in accordance with Safety standards.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other manual equipment.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Report any stock discrepancies or issues to a supervisor.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization.
- Contribute to team goals for efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Capability to perform frequent bending, stooping, and Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety protocols and procedures.
- Good organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with Logistics principles is beneficial.
