Join our dedicated team as an Order Picker in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This position is key to our warehouse operations, focusing on accurately retrieving items for customer orders. You will navigate our facility, locate products efficiently, and ensure they are ready for the next stage of the shipping process. We're looking for individuals with a strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to accuracy in a fast-paced logistics setting.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick orders from warehouse shelves using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Verify item accuracy and quantity against order details.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all established safety procedures and guidelines.
- Report any stock discrepancies or damaged items to a supervisor.
- Assist with inventory tasks such as cycle counts.
- Contribute to team goals for order fulfillment efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance is essential.
