Become a vital part of our operations in Dallas, Texas, as a Picker/Packer! We are a leading logistics company seeking motivated individuals to join our warehouse team. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately and efficiently pick products from storage locations and pack them for shipment to our customers. This role requires a keen eye for detail, physical dexterity, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. You will play a critical role in our supply chain, ensuring orders are processed correctly and on time. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against customer orders.
- Pack items securely and appropriately into shipping cartons or other containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area, adhering to all company guidelines and procedures.
- Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counts.
- Wear and utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Adhere to all safe lifting and material handling practices to prevent injury.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily productivity goals.
- Assist with receiving and stocking duties when needed to support overall logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms, labels, and instructions.
- Experience with scanning technology and warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks, including standing and walking for long periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices within a logistics setting.
