Join our vibrant team as an Order Picker in the sunny city of Orlando, Florida! We are a leading logistics provider seeking dedicated individuals to ensure the accurate and efficient fulfillment of customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will navigate our warehouse using scanning equipment and order lists to retrieve items, prepare them for shipment, and maintain a high standard of productivity. This role demands focus, agility, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. Your role is critical to the success of our logistics operations, ensuring our clients receive their orders precisely as requested. You'll be an essential link in the supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves accurately using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product integrity during transit.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other basic material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all company guidelines.
- Contribute to inventory accuracy by promptly and correctly scanning items.
- Perform routine checks on equipment and report any operational issues.
- Assist with receiving and stocking duties as needed.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Follow all guidelines for safe lifting and body mechanics to prevent injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily picking targets within our logistics framework.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret pick tickets and labels.
- Proficiency with scanning technology and warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good time management and multitasking abilities.
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.
- Understanding of safety procedures within a logistics setting.
