Our Minneapolis, Minnesota location is searching for reliable Picker/Packers to join our vibrant warehouse team. This role is fundamental to our Logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately assembled and prepared for shipment. You will be responsible for efficiently locating items in our inventory and ensuring they are packaged correctly for their journey.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve items from warehouse locations based on order fulfillment sheets or electronic pick lists.
- Verify item numbers and quantities against the order to ensure precision.
- Package selected items using appropriate materials to guarantee safe transit.
- Affix shipping labels and prepare orders for shipment to customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized personal workspace and contribute to overall warehouse cleanliness.
- Strictly follow all Safety regulations and guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Operate manual pallet jacks and hand trucks as necessary for order fulfillment.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and report any discrepancies found.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily operational targets.
- Promote a positive and supportive team atmosphere.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is preferred. Ability to handle consistent Lifting of up to 40 pounds. Must be able to stand and walk for the majority of the shift. Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail are crucial. Understanding of warehouse Safety best practices. Must be compliant with all PPE requirements. This role is a key component of our Logistics chain and demands punctuality and diligence. Must possess a strong work ethic and the ability to perform efficiently under pressure.
