Our Dallas, Texas distribution center is actively searching for reliable Picker/Packers to join our energetic logistics team. This role is fundamental to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked and securely packed for shipment. You will be working in a dynamic, fast-paced warehouse environment where attention to detail and efficiency are key. Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve items from warehouse locations based on order specifications.
- Inspect products for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Select appropriate packaging materials and securely pack items to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify order details against picking lists and system data.
- Utilize RF scanners for efficient inventory tracking and order processing.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding warehouse areas.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Communicate any order discrepancies, stock issues, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Meet or exceed established productivity and quality standards.
- Support overall warehouse logistics and fulfillment goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in working within a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse management principles.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and the correct application of PPE.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and work ethic.
