Our growing logistics operation in Boise, Idaho is looking for efficient and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our fulfillment team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders and carefully packing them for shipment. Your speed and accuracy are crucial to our customer satisfaction. You will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, ensuring orders are processed correctly and efficiently. We emphasize a culture of safety and expect all team members to prioritize it. This position involves significant lifting and requires the correct use of provided PPE. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order tickets.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Verify order accuracy before sealing and labeling packages.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory movements.
- Assist with maintaining an organized and clean work area.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with orders to supervisors immediately.
- Contribute to meeting daily picking and packing goals.
- Support the overall logistics and fulfillment process.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
- Good manual dexterity and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual.
