We are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Distribution Center Associates in Sacramento, California. In this role, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will play a crucial role in our logistics network, ensuring that products move smoothly through our facility and reach our customers on time. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (if certified) and pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and checks.
- Assist with shipping and receiving documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform manual lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Familiarity with general logistics and supply chain operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
