Seeking a skilled Material Handler for our state-of-the-art facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the flow of materials throughout the warehouse, ensuring smooth operations and timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store materials and products.
- Transport materials to and from storage areas, production areas, or loading docks.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper tracking and record-keeping.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE, such as hard hats and safety shoes.
- Assist with shipping and receiving functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
- Valid forklift operator certification is required.
- Proficiency in operating various material handling equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs) and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and logistics operations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
