PURPOSE OF JOB:
The IT Developer / Data Analyst - will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions and data processes to support internal IT projects and improve operational efficiency across various departments. This mid-level position focuses on software development, data engineering, and implementing robust security practices to ensure compliance and protect organizational data.
***EXEMPT POSITION-PAY DEPENDS ON EXPERIENCE***
Requirements
• Proficiency in Python programming, R, and general software development concepts.
• Strong experience with SQL, Postgres, and Oracle database management.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Solid knowledge of web technologies: React, JavaScript, C#, and Django.
• Familiarity with modern data stack tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake).
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and MLOps practices.
• Understanding of secure coding standards and data protection principles.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and deliver actionable insights.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and work with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with additional programming languages or frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and data engineering tools.
• Knowledge of advanced security practices and compliance frameworks.
• Experience in process automation and workflow optimization. Education & Training
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Relevant Certifications (e.g., CBIP, Tableau Certified Data Analyst, Google Business Intelligence Professional, QlikView Business Analyst) are a plus.
• Required Certification - MS Certified Power BI Data Analyst Associate (Current or within 12 months of hire).
