About
Design complex data architecture solutions.
Evaluate complex data sources to assess their value and application, advising on the inclusion of data in analytical processes.
Integrate essential data management practices including data governance, security, and quality assurance.
Collaborate with teams across the organization to deliver and educate end users about complex data products and analytic frameworks.
Conduct data and system analysis, addressing complex defects and incidents as needed.
Test data movement, transformation scripts, and data components.
Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications of the Ideal Candidate A Bachelor's Degree in a STEM-related field or equivalent experience.
A minimum of eight years of relevant experience.
Expertise in creating robust data pipelines and working with large-scale datasets.
Familiarity with tools such as AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, Gen AI, ETL Tools, Terraform, etc.
A strong passion for automation, optimization, and delivering high-quality data solutions.
A problem-solving mindset focused on continuous improvement.
Understanding of data governance, security, and quality measures.
Proficient in cloud platforms and programming languages, with a sound understanding of modern software engineering practices.
Demonstrated ability to consistently deliver high-quality work while managing expectations and negotiating tradeoffs.
Strong domain expertise, with insights into technical concepts, industry trends, and a deep understanding of current systems.
Effective problem-solver dedicated to building sustainable systems and innovative solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
A proven ability to lead and mentor team members, fostering a supportive environment for growth and learning.
Essential Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related STEM field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
An additional four years of experience in data engineering.
