detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws

(small).to maintain surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations(/small). inspect farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, transportation checks patrolling international borders & coastal waterways transport checking various assets such as vehicles,horses,vessels ,watercraft . .etc . qualify for GL-5 grade level if possess one year general work experience demonstrating ability take charge make sound decisions composure in stressful situations OR education substitution bachelor degree graduated four-year college university graduate-level studies subject related law enforcement ,or combination both .view resume transcripts submitted application.GL-7 qualification 1yr specialized work experience that shows skill necessary analyze information rapidly decision-making usage firearms effective interaction people courtesy tact matters physical techniques driver training border patrol academy weapons instruction Gs-11 selection process includes previously serving federal civilian non-military position available title u.s.c refer bpa announcement ,veterans preference candidate may eligible veterans recruitment appointment choose
