Customs and Border Protection Officer

This is a career ladder position with various grade levels.

  • Duties may include physical inspections of people, documents or goods for criminal activity, fraud,
    and/or illegal operations.
Beyond performing inspections,, the Customs and Border Protection Officer will be responsible for utilizing observational techniques to elevate facts and review documentation while applying laws regulations making determinations in compliance with Laws that lead to arrests seizure property fines penalties based on findings including enforcing customs immigration agriculture laws. This role requires a keen eye detail adaptability problem-solving skills as well as ability work effectively under pressure within fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities involve conducting thorough investigations interviewing witnesses analyzing evidence processing information from multiple sources providing expert recommendations law enforcement officials., ensuring compliance legal requirements maintaining accurate records document management coordinating efforts between different teams.
