The role of a Border Protection Specialist is to safeguard the nation by enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws. You will be part of a dynamic team working together to prevent the illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods into the United States.

Key responsibilities include:

• Enforcing laws and regulations related to importing, exporting, and international shipping;


• Detecting suspected violators of federal, state or local laws and/or arresting violators using proper law enforcement methods;


• Utilizing intelligence techniques and behavior analysis to identify potential threats; and
  
• Conducting interviews in a law enforcement capacity for gaining information from suspected violators.
