Border Enforcement Specialist

The United States Border Patrol is a federal law enforcement agency responsible for detecting and preventing unauthorized entry into the country.

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws.
• Inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.

Duties may also include: Prediction, Preparation, Response (PPR) , which involves analyzing intelligence data to anticipate potential border crossings; setting up checkpoints in areas where illegal activity is likely to occur; apprehending undocumented noncitizens at or near the borders.),
