Protective Security Professional

As a Border Patrol Agent, you will be part of an elite team dedicated to protecting America's borders and enforcing immigration laws. You will have the opportunity to work in various locations throughout the country, including high-priority areas along the Southwest border.

Typical duties may include:

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws


• Inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations


• Maintaining surveillance from covert positions, including night operations using infrared scopes


• Interpreting tracks, marks, and other physical evidence related to illegal entry or smuggling


• Performing farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, and transportation inspections
