Job Summary

The Border Patrol Agent is responsible for detecting and preventing violations of immigration and customs laws. They inspect documents, interrogate individuals, and determine citizenship or infractions.


Main Responsibilities
  • Prevent illegal border crossings using surveillance systems, detection equipment, situation awareness tools, and communications devices.
  • Analyze tracks, marks physical evidence to identify undocumented entry or smuggling attempts.
A key aspect of the job involves patrolling international borders through various mediums such as land vehicles snowmobiles motorcycles vessels ATVs in order to prevent contraband from entering the country.
