This is a career ladder position with advancement opportunities from GL-9 to GS-11 and GS-12. As a Border Patrol Agent, you will be responsible for detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions, preventing illegal entry of persons or contraband, performing farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, transportation checks.

• Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws. 


• Inspecting documents & possessions to determine citizenship/violations.


• Preventing & apprehending aliens & smugglers at/near borders using surveillance equipment


• Ideal candidate has experience leading investigations, apprehending violators by utilizing surveillance technology,
