Border Security Specialist

Our Border Patrol Agents are part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders and deterring illicit activity. They make a difference every day in their communities, enforcing immigration laws and preventing crime.

Duties:

• Inspect documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations


• Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens at or near the borders


• Analyze information rapidly and make prompt decisions


• Pursue smugglers of noncitizens using various government assets such as vehicles, vessels, watercraft, ATVs, snowmobiles, motorcycles etc.
