This Customs and Border Protection Officer position offers a unique opportunity to work with a highly trained team of professionals dedicated to protecting America's interests.
Job Responsibilities:
- Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations by conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances.
- Facilitate legitimate trade and travel while preventing illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods.
- Determine admissibility for entry into the United States based on thorough evaluations.
- Safeguard borders from illicit activity, enhancing national economic prosperity through diligent efforts.

Growth Opportunities
The career ladder progression includes grade levels GS-5, GS-7 ,GS-9 , GS -11 ,and Gs -12 .
You will be eligible for promotions once you successfully complete required training periods at each level . Promotions are made at agency discretion ,based on operational requirements as determined by CBP Office Of Field Operations .
