About
This is a challenging role that requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills . As a Border Patrol Agent, you will be responsible for enforcing laws at the nation's borders.
The main duties of this position involve detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws. You will also be required to prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens at or near borders.
- Detecting suspicious activity at border crossings;
- Interviewing individuals to gather information;
- Capturing fugitives who have evaded law enforcement.
The most important qualifications for this job include being physically fit and able to work in various environments. In addition, strong decision-making skills are crucial as you will often face complex situations that require quick thinking.
