About
CrackFinder – A video AI system designed to analyze young horses (5–6 years old) and predict their future performance level (e.g., 1m40, 1m55, 1m60).
CrackCoach – A performance analysis system that analyzes a full show jumping round, detects technical errors, and generates structured coaching feedback with suggested exercises.
Both systems rely heavily on:
• Video processing
• Horse detection and tracking
• Jump segmentation
• Pose estimation (horse + rider)
• Feature extraction
• Deep video models (MViT / SlowFast / Transformers)
• Calibration & uncertainty estimation
• Production-ready ML pipelines
We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead who can:
• Architect both pipelines in a modular way
• Prioritize development intelligently (what to build first)
• Supervise CV / ML / MLOps engineers
• Review code and enforce standards
• Design a scalable long-term architecture
• Help define milestones and hiring roadmap
You must be comfortable operating in a startup-like deep tech environment and be able to balance research with practical delivery.
This is a long-term project with strong growth potential.
We are not only looking for a strong engineer.
We are looking for someone who can lead and structure the entire AI execution layer.
You will be responsible for:
• Supervising computer vision engineers (tracking, segmentation, detection)
• Supervising ML engineers (video models, regression, calibration)
• Supervising MLOps engineers (deployment, monitoring, infra)
• Structuring and managing data annotation workflows
• Defining annotation guidelines and quality control processes
• Reviewing code and enforcing architecture standards
• Designing how all pipeline bricks connect together
• Ensuring reproducibility, modularity, and scalability
You must be able to:
• Break down the project into technical modules
• Decide which engineers to hire for each module
• Define clear deliverables per milestone
• Review technical output critically
• Assemble all components into one coherent system
This is a true Technical Lead / AI Architect role.
You will be the person responsible for making sure all pieces of the system work together correctly.
