About
You will work closely with the product owner and dev team to identify defects, reproduce issues consistently, and validate fixes across staging and production.
Key Responsibilities:
• Test end-to-end customer flows:
• Signup + subscription purchase
• Menu selection / personalization window
• Skip / reschedule / cancel
• Checkout, payment confirmation, receipts
• Account dashboard (order history, next delivery, status)
• Test admin flows:
• Force confirm / force charge actions
• Menu setup, delivery calendar, exports (if applicable)
• Validate time-based rules (EST):
• Cutoff behavior
• Renewal cycles
• What happens before/after cutoff
• Create structured bug reports including:
• steps to reproduce
• expected vs actual behavior
• screenshots/videos
• browser/device details
• Regression testing after each fix
• Maintain a QA checklist and release sign-off notes
Deliverables:
• A QA checklist (Google Doc or Notion)
• Bug reports in a shared tracker (Jira/Trello/Linear/ClickUp)
• Daily test summary (what was tested, what failed, what is blocked)
• Release sign-off before production deploys
Required Skills:
• Proven experience testing web apps (not only WordPress)
• Strong understanding of subscription/checkout logic
• Ability to think in edge cases and business rules
• Excellent written communication and structured reporting
• Comfortable working with staging environments
Nice to Have:
• Experience testing WooCommerce / subscription systems
• Experience testing API-driven apps (basic Postman is enough)
• Familiarity with Stripe/online payments testing
• Experience with Cloudflare Pages / Workers environments
Tools:
• Browser testing (Chrome, Safari)
• Screen recording (Loom or similar)
• Optional: Postman for API validation
Project Type:
• Hourly
• 10–20 hours/week to start (can scale)
• Ongoing as features ship
